SHERIFF SWEARS IN TWO NEW CORRECTIONS DEPUTIES
Sheriff Casey Salisbury swore in Corrections Deputy Aleksandra Kruk and Corrections Deputy Ashley Zielomski at a gathering in the sheriff’s office on June 20, 2016.
Sheriff Salisbury said, “We are greatly pleased to have these qualified individuals join our jail staff.”
Corrections Deputy Aleksandra Kruk has served as a Polish interpreter for the past 3 years in the Seattle area and was previously an English language teacher in Poland. She will be assigned to a Field Training Officer until she is confirmed to attend the Corrections Officers Academy at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center in Burien where she will receive 160 hours of training over a 4 week period.
Corrections Deputy Ashley Zielomski previously worked for a contractor for Fed Ex and is a veteran of the United States Army where she served as an explosives ordinance disposal mechanic. She will also be assigned to a Field Training Officer until she is confirmed to attend the Corrections Officers Academy.
