Search and Rescue Volunteers

The backbone of Search and Rescue in Mason County is the volunteer units. These units provide the majority of resource support for all SAR operations in the jurisdiction  The volunteer is staffed with volunteer community members, and divided into units based on skill types such as: ground search, 4×4’s , ORV’s, mounted units and more….

We are seeking volunteers with the willingness to serve their community.Volunteers from age 14 and up can find or create a unit that fits his or her interests. We are also looking for volunteers to act as unit leaders. If you have an outdoor interest, we have a task that will fit your interest.
