MCSO K9 JANO APPREHENDS TWO BURGLARY SUSPECTS
Deputies were dispatched to the scene after a report of multiple persons observed breaking into a residence was received at 4:30 in the morning on Friday, September 23, 2016.
After multiple warnings were announced, K9 Jano was deployed to locate the individuals witnessed fleeing the scene once it was determined that a break-in had occurred.
K9 Jano located and held Holmgren by the arm until a deputy was able to take her into custody. Holmgren had been hiding near a large downed tree in thick brush.
K9 Jano next located and held Williams by the arm until a deputy could take him into custody. Williams had been hiding in a crawl space beneath a nearby residence. A search of Williams’ person yielded a small baggie of white crystalline substance.
Williams also was booked for possession of a controlled substance.
Multiple items possibly related to the burglary were also located by K9 Jano in the wooded area and collected as evidence.
