Eric Brandon Jacob has recently moved back into Mason County and registered as a sex offender for a conviction of 1 count of Rape 3rd degree, Thurston County Superior Court cause #94-1-1313-4. This conviction stems from Jacob taking a 15 year old girl to the Capital Forest area to a party where she had been drinking and was intoxicated. She passed out in the back of Jacob’s truck twice. When she awoke the first time she found him attempting sexual contact with her at which time she stopped him and walked away. The second time she awoke to him pulling her pants down. She again resisted, but he over came the resistance and raped her. The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office lowered Jacob’s risk level from a 2 to a 1 because of his lack of criminal activity, but the Mason County Sheriff’s Office has leveled Jacob back to his original level 2 because of the vulnerability of the girl; because of Jacob’s lengthy property crimes history; and because of Jacob’s recent non-sexual criminal history. Due to these factors he is considered a MODERATE RISK.
Eric Brandon Jacob is assessed by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office as a Level II Sex Offender.
